Interestingly enough, I decided to take some much appreciated advice and add a couple of elements to help balance the collage. It will be interesting to see if it helped....I rather think it did! I also intensified the color with "levels autofix" which actually made it a bit more like the real thing -- except for the birds! They became lavender! What's up with that??? Here it is, for what it's worth....my new improved (?) collage baby.

Hard to believe it could be improved, but you did it! I agree with Jill's comment, Hang it up! Make sure you put it somewhere you'll pass it often and give yourself well-deserved praise.

Even better!

I give you alot of credit as I'm the one who is afraid to add things and usually leave my work unfinished. I've got to get past this hump.

Thanks for the inspiration Pat : )

Thank you for the nicest comment I have gotten on my blog. It warms my heart. I get very few comments at times.

I love your stuff, all the vintage embellishments add such a comforting feel. I will be back to visit often.

As for your college, I do think the addition of the red is a nice "pop" (as the HGTV designers would say)

Oh, I love it! Beautiful arrangement of the ephemera and I love the colors!
Thank you for your nice comment on my ephemera blog. I'm glad you like the images from the old catalog. I especially like the "maternatiy undergarments".... talk about uncomfortable... Yikes!
You have some great work here!! Glad I found your site! :)
Oh, btw, I'm not too far away... I live in Healdsburg, just north of Santa Rosa.

Wow, I thought it was beautiful before but the added color really brings it all together.
